We are today with Khing Oei, Founder and CEO of AlphaSwap:
- Can you present your background?
Prior to founding AlphaSwap, I was Founder and Chief Investment Officer of $200mm event-driven hedge fund Eyck Capital Management with EuroHedge nominations in 2015 and 2013. Previously to this, I was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at multi-billion dollar hedge fund Halcyon/Bardin Hill, and an Investment Professional at Fortress and Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Investing Group.
I have a Master of Science in Econometrics and a Minor Degree in Business Mathematics & Computer Science from VU University in Amsterdam.
2. A word on your team and advisors?
Our team consists of top professionals from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds. Prior work experience includes Applied Blockchain, Block3, Aliaxis, Espeo, KBC, LSE, Credit Suisse and Microsoft/Skype. Our advisors include Bert Rigter who was a Partner and Co-Head of Multi-Style team at multi-billion institutional investor LGT Capital Partners. Two further advisors, which we are in the process of formalizing are an executive of a top-tier crypto exchange and a former partner of one of the world’s most renowned hedge funds.
3. Can you tell us more about Alphaswap?
AlphaSwap is a community-driven alpha capture and asset management platform powered by Blockchain-enabled voting and AI. Our mission is to enable a global pool of active investors the opportunity to monetize their investment ideas and market views in a meritocratic, democratic and transparent ecosystem.
